The end.  I can’t believe this book ended with a cliffhanger.  Many things were resolved, but just as many were left unanswered.  This book has been really interesting from beginning to end and if it weren't for how long the book is, I would totally reread the book even though I already know the answer.  It would be a lot easier to understand everything throughout the book if I were to reread.  At the end of the book, after a lot of consideration, the higher-ups within the CIA have deemed Mitch Rapp as innocent, however... Stan Hurley is absolutely convinced that Mitch Rapp is only a liability.  This, in turn, makes Stansfield, the higher up in charge of both Stan and Mitch, increasingly angry.  They eventually caught the mole who was Victor and got him to spit out a bit of information about the person he worked for.  Victor had only joined Stan for one reason.  It wasn’t to bring Mitch in but to kill him.  In the previous books, he has...

          Currently, within my book, the most obvious answer would be Mitch Rapp will survive and persevere through all the challenges that face him.  However many things could still happen.  Rapp could be killed by Stan, or maybe gets revenge on the entirety of the CIA for attempting to silence him.  I thoroughly believe that Mitch Rapp will be deemed innocent.  The main reason for that is because it is the most logical.  He has already revealed to the CIA that information was being leaked as well as him being set up.  Also attempting to silence Rapp currently would just provide more and more unnecessary problems that aren’t wanted.  They are warned that if they are to kill Rapp, they are to do it quickly or else they will be screwed when Rapp comes to take revenge.  Another reason is that some higher-ups already believe the innocence of Rapp and it is really hard to deny it with absolute proof right in front of their fa...

Who knows what’s real and what’s fake. Even as a reader it is hard to discern mainly because there isn’t much information given to the reader.  A fairly important quote in the book would be, “And the DGSE isn’t telling us a thing.” Many people are currently in the case of the murder, however, the DGSE (Directorate-General for External Security) isn’t unveiling any information on the case.  There could be many reasons for this but the main reason why I believe they are hiding the case is that they have something fairly important to hide. I believe that the suspect that is currently the most suspicious would be Stan Hurley.  Mitch Rapp was highly despised upon for being the number one assassin within the CIA. He had thought of himself as being “immortal” which was the main reason why it leads to him getting shot in the shoulder.  After failing to complete his mission he was branded with the name of “Rogue Assassin”. Everyone suspected that Mitch was the one who had killed the 9 innocents which resulted with him becoming “rogue” The main reason why I believe Hurley is the one who set up Mitch Rapp is because of the intensity that he wants to kill him throughout the book.  It gets to a point where Hurley is forcing a guy named Chet to join in and help chase down the “rogue” assassin. Chet is a person who loves to kill. He states, “Chet could see he had found the perfect place and the ultimate mentor. No more saluting, no more rules, and the best part-he got to kill people.” Chet was destined to go to...

The Problem. Mitch Rapp, the main character, is an assassin who works for the CIA.  He is given a list of people that he has to kill. While fulfilling his job he encounters one of his targets completely defenseless while sleeping and doesn’t think twice.  He shoots the target but little did he know that there was a trap set up. A separate group of people was plotting to kill him for fame and glory. After the target is dead the other group busted down the door and started firing.  Without any warning, Mitch could only do so much. He kills a few of the men but gets shot in his shoulder. He barely escapes but he failed his job. He was to be discreet so normally he only kills the target and a few of the people defending him but this time civilians, as well as the "unidentified" people, lay there dead.  This brought too much attention to the CIA so they have to keep everything under wraps.
